Yellowstone National Park, Wyo., Oct. 12, 2012: Home to grizzly bears, wolves, and herds of bison and elk, Yellowstone National Park spans an area of 3,468.4 square miles and is known as America’s first national park. Old Faithful and the majority of the world’s geysers are preserved here, along with lakes, canyons, rivers and mountain ranges, and hundreds of species of mammals, birds, fish and reptiles. We spotted this grizzly just after entering the park. Yellowstone is obviously a beautiful place, but to me, the wildlife is really what makes it spectacular. Grizzly bear near East entrance
